Christmas In Our Hearts



Christmas is a wonderful time of year. It's all about helping people and giving back. During the month of December, people remember Jesus Christ and his life lessons. It's just a gentle reminder of why we must remain true to our humanity's essential values. We are urged to share, donate to the less fortunate, spend time with loved ones, and have a positive outlook on life in general through celebration. Christmas in Vigan has always felt enchanting. When wandering through the streets of Calle Crisologo or resting on the Plaza Burgos swings, you can feel the Christmas air.



However, when the pandemic struck, everything changed. The pandemic has been going on for about three years, which means we've had two Christmas seasons during this time. We light parols in Vigan City to keep the festive spirit alive. Various Christmas decorations are strewn over the city's central district. Tourist Attractions additionally adds Christmas decorations to the location of our attractions, allowing us to enjoy the experience more.

COVID-19 may made our Christmas sad, no matter what happens we should always keep our Christmas spirit within us,  we will be fine. Even if we are under lockdown, the Christmas spirit lives on. Although the last two years have been different, the love and joy that we share each year has been constant.

Time Flies by so Fast

I'm still perplexed about how quickly time passes. Here I am again writing a reflection on what I learned this quarter.  Despite how much I stated that time flew by, I thought the third quarter was fantastic. Mentally, I can gladly state that I am doing much better than the previous quarter. Nonetheless, this quarter taught me a lot. I've learned a lot about important events in our community, on how they were celebrated and how people are looking for these events every year. I have also learned about our history which is very helpful. This is my first time working on a community-based project; at first, I had a lot of complaints at first, but I was able to complete it in the end.
