Soul Searching

 


         I'm Bea Nathalie Esteban, 15 years old, I was born in august 21, 2006. I have a sister in twelfth grade and my mother is a teacher. I’m outgoing and at the same time introvert person; it really depends on who I am with. What I noticed in my personality is whenever I get excited over things or like events like family members birthday including me, school programs, Christmas or New Year’s, etc. I get so talkative over some useless stuff. I’m good at house chores like really good to the point where everywhere is shining but I’m lazy so that only happens every once a week. I’m very confident in social media but in real life I’m insecure and shy around people and I think being insecure about something is totally fine because we are not perfect, we all have imperfections that make us unique or different from others. I’m a very emotional person, every little things that are emotional makes me cry a river.

          I like to sing, dance, and to draw although I’m not that good at it I enjoy doing it. I’m a top achiever back then when I’m still at elementary then I don’t know what happened when I entered high school ; maybe I got lazy or something. Even though I barely win I used to join contests back then representing my school. I was the SSG president too in my old school and then I joined the election for 7th grade SSG representative, but unfortunately I didn’t get to win maybe it wasn’t for me. I’m closer to my father than my mother although back then he is an OFW he barely go back home here in the Philippines, but I love them both; Sadly my father died because of some illness I don’t know what it’s called. 

        I have a lot of dream I want to reach. Ten years from now I want to become an architect, a nurse or maybe a fashion designer; Right now I still don’t know what I want in life. But I’m pretty sure I want to be successful and rich someday. I want to help people especially kids, those kids who can’t afford going to school and to those people who struggle financially. I want to travel the world and experience different cultures and go to different adventures. I want to buy expensive things I can’t buy right now, and I want to spoil my mother and sister with the things they like. I will buy a big land for me to build a mansion I’ve always dream about. If ever I would get kids I will make sure that I would be the best mother for them.

And I can confirm that you are a really funny person, the atmosphere will always be overwhelmed with positivity when I am with you. That is why I like interacting with you even just for a bit. Time Flies by so Fast

I'm still perplexed about how quickly time passes. Here I am again writing a reflection on what I learned this quarter.  Despite how much I stated that time flew by, I thought the third quarter was fantastic. Mentally, I can gladly state that I am doing much better than the previous quarter. Nonetheless, this quarter taught me a lot. I've learned a lot about important events in our community, on how they were celebrated and how people are looking for these events every year. I have also learned about our history which is very helpful. This is my first time working on a community-based project; at first, I had a lot of complaints at first, but I was able to complete it in the end. I'm having difficulty understanding the subject because I'm terrible at writing essays and conducting research.
